FAQ

Questions from a shop counter

Is cardsrm accounting software for a card shop?

Yes. It is the card-level books for a shop that buys and sells Magic: The Gathering, Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh, sports cards, and other trading cards. Each card records what you paid, what it sold for, and the profit.

Does cardsrm replace an accountant?

No. It keeps each deal in a ledger a bookkeeper would otherwise rebuild from texts and spreadsheets. Month end shows profit on everything bought, and profit on sales that have settled.

What is the difference between Basic, Pro, and Elite?

Basic is the books once a shop is past 1,000 cards: the ledger, quick entry, who you bought from, receipt upload, and month-end profit. Pro starts past 5,000 cards and adds photo scanning. Elite includes Pro, plus MCP, customer support, fuller profit reports, and exports a bookkeeper can use.

Which plan includes scanning?

Scanning starts on Pro, for a shop past 5,000 cards, and it stays on Elite. Basic is entry by hand and by receipt file.

What is MCP support?

MCP is on Elite. It lets an assistant read card info and upload it onto legs in your shop. The sale is still marked sold only when you enter the amount and the wire date.

Can another shop see the vendors I bought from?

No. Vendors you name, and the cards you bought from them, stay on your shop. A buy stays in inventory until you sell the card. Another shop cannot open that backlog.

When do I accept the terms?

You accept the Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy when you open the shop. The time of that acceptance is stored on the account.
